SFI NorwAI is the largest academic initiative for AI innovation in Norway, located at NTNU in Trondheim. The center aims to coordinate research and innovation between three universities, two research institutes and eleven companies. With a solid background in research on Big Data and artificial intelligence, NorwAI focuses on the commercialization of AI technologies and contributes to the development of innovative solutions in industry.
The center houses the Norwegian Open AI Lab (NAIL), which serves as a platform for research, education and innovation in AI. In addition to research activities, SFI NorwAI organizes conferences, webinars and seminars to promote knowledge sharing among actors in the field. Through collaboration with large, technologically ambitious companies and research institutes, NorwAI has the potential to become a significant force in AI-driven industrial innovation in Norway.
