The Ecclesiastical council in Trondheim is part of the Church of Norway and is tasked with safeguarding ecclesiastical and cultural interests in the region. The council has worked on several initiatives, including the restoration of church musician training in Trondheim, which has received support from over 1,000 signatures. In addition, they have been involved in the planning and building of the new Charlottenlund church, a project that has been under development for ten years.
The council also offers various activities and events for the local community. This includes drop-in evenings with the theme "Grief and life force" for people who have experienced loss, as well as themed evenings about grief in Vår Frue church, which are open to anyone interested. Furthermore, they focus on digitizing burial sites to make cultural history available, as well as promoting inclusion and support for those who are grieving.
