Nidar Candy Store and Chocolate Museum is located in Trondheim and offers a unique insight into the Nidar factory, which has been part of Norwegian candy history since 1912. Visitors can take part in guided tours that provide insight into the production process of chocolate and small treats. In addition to regular items, it is possible to purchase products with a shorter shelf life or less defects at a reduced price.
The museum provides an in-depth presentation of Nidar and their products, as well as an opportunity to see how new chocolate is made. The store has a varied selection of small treats, and there is an emphasis on sustainability in production. Guided tours for school classes are available, which adds an educational dimension to the visit.
