Trafon is a festival location in Trondheim, which has a historical background linked to Norway's Technical University. The building was built in 1910 and has previously been used for power distribution for the Gløshaugen and Strinda areas. In 1995, the building was bought by the Society, which has been responsible for it ever since.
The building has two floors, as well as a basement and an attic. Inside Trafon there are practice rooms, offices, meeting rooms and storage space, which makes it well suited for various events. The loft is used for storing chairs and other equipment, which contributes to the efficient operation of the festival. Trafon therefore has an important role in the cultural and technical environment in Trondheim.
