Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera (TSO) is one of Norway's largest cultural institutions with over 100 years of history. The orchestra has a varied program that includes concerts every week, led by Chief Conductor Adam Hickox. TSO also offers opportunities for the audience to compose their own concert series, as well as special musical experiences such as Classical Vorspiel.
TSO engages children and young people through its children's choir, and offers student prizes throughout the season. The institution participates in the renowned Princess Astrid International Music Competition, and has a focus on sustainability and social responsibility. Through its work, TSO contributes to promoting and developing interest in music at local, regional, national and international levels.
