Galleri Ismene AS has been a central player on the Norwegian art scene since its inception in 1982. The gallery focuses on both Norwegian and international visual art, and has a varied exhibition program that includes current artists. One of the notable exhibitions is a solo exhibition with Runi Langum, which has a particular focus on drawings and graphics. The gallery has also carried out several major decoration works, including the Otto Nielsen memorial, and has purchased works from recognized institutions such as the National Museum and the National Gallery.
In addition to the exhibition business, Galleri Ismene runs eight graphics clubs as well as an edition business for graphic editions.
