TEKS - Trondheim Electronic Arts Centre, also known as Trondheim Electronic Arts Centre, was founded in 2002 as a non-profit organisation. The center functions as a resource center for art and technology, with a particular focus on art after artificial intelligence. TEKS is known for organizing the biennial Meta.Morf, which shines a spotlight on the interaction between art and technology. The organization also offers a media art library that provides a historical perspective on the field, as well as a showroom and laboratory for experimental art.
TEKS presents ongoing projects and events, and explores questions related to authorship and creativity in AI-generated art. Through collaboration with various artists and researchers, the center contributes to the development of technology-related art. TEKS receives support from the Culture Council and Trondheim municipality, and works with production, promotion and education through courses and workshops.
