Adresseavisen is Central Norway's largest regional newspaper and has its origins in Trondheim. The newspaper covers a wide range of news, including domestic, foreign, sports and culture. It also offers a platform for debate and exchange of opinions, which contributes to an active dialogue among readers. In addition, Ukeadressa is published, which provides weekly updates on current affairs.

As part of the Polaris Media group, which is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, Adresseavisen follows the Vær Varsom poster's rules for good press practice. An e-edition is available for subscribers, which gives readers the opportunity to read the newspaper digitally. Adresseavisen also rewards readers' contributions by giving up to NOK 10,000 for the best tips.
