Kjersti Ausen is a specialist in plastic surgery with extensive experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. She offers a wide range of services, including breast surgery, liposuction, fat grafting and skin correction surgery. With a PhD focusing on bleeding reduction measures in surgery, she has contributed to the field through both clinical practice and research.
In addition to her clinical role, Ausen works as a consultant at St. Olavs Hospital. She has also been the chair of the Norwegian Plastic Surgery Association and is an active speaker and teacher in her field. Her medical education was completed at the University of Oslo, and she is currently involved in research on stem cells in adipose tissue, which may have implications for future treatment methods in plastic surgery.
