Sverresborg Trøndelag Folkemuseum is located in Trondheim and offers a comprehensive insight into Trøndelag and Trondheim's history. The museum has a large open-air area and a varied building mass, which includes over 80 buildings divided into the themes City, Village and Borg. Visitors can explore permanent environmental exhibits in more than 30 of these buildings, providing a deeper understanding of the region's cultural heritage.
The museum organizes family-friendly activities throughout the year and has specific communication services aimed at children and young people. In addition to the exhibitions, there is a museum shop that offers Norwegian crafts and design, as well as a ceramics workshop and craft outlet in Schjølberggården. This gives visitors the opportunity to experience and buy unique handmade products.
