Rabarbraparken is a park in Trondheim that functions as a center for creative reuse. The park was developed in collaboration with Rallar Arkitekter, with the goal of creating a "park of wonder" where available materials are used in innovative ways. This project includes elements such as sound and light, which invite exploration and play.
In addition to the physical elements, Rabarbraparken involves children from local kindergartens in the planning, which helps give them a voice in the design of their local environment. The park also serves as a test pilot for alternative playgrounds without fixed installations, and offers workshops where planners, architects and artists can collaborate. The local community is actively involved in creative processes, which strengthens the bonds between residents and their shared outdoor space.
