Cope is a digital psychology service that offers access to psychologists via mobile phone. The service was developed by CoperioSenteret AS, which was founded in 2003. Cope focuses on providing quick help to people with everyday problems and mental challenges, and aims to make everyday life easier for its users. The psychologists have experience in dealing with a variety of issues that can affect both students, young people and adults.
Users can expect an initial conversation where the psychologist asks questions to adapt the help to individual needs. Cope offers the option of drop-in conversations, and the psychologist calls at an agreed time. All psychologists are authorized by the Norwegian Directorate of Health and members of the Norwegian Psychological Association, and they use evidence-based methods in their work. The service is available regardless of where the user is, whether at home, at the cottage or abroad.
