The Furuhaugen housing estate in Trondheim consists of 45 housing units in terraced houses, the oldest parts of which were built in 1968. The housing estate is part of the development of Fyllingsdalen and has been designed by architect Kåre Frølich, who has created variety in the rows of houses. The outdoor areas have been planned by landscape architect Torborg Zimmer Frølich, which gives an aesthetic touch to the area.
The housing association is located on the forest edge of the Canadian Forest, which gives the residents access to scenic surroundings. There is a car-free road that leads to nearby primary schools and nurseries, which can be an advantage for families with children. In addition, there are good bus connections with departures every ten minutes to the city centre, and the Bybanen til Fyllingsdalen opened on 21 November 2022, which further improves public transport in the area.
