The cultural center ISAK is an offer aimed at young people aged 16-25, and is part of the Culture Unit in Trondheim municipality. The center offers a range of facilities, including rehearsal spaces for dance, theater and music, as well as art and design workshops. There are also several sound studios and two stages, which provide opportunities for both rehearsal and performance. In addition, the center has a cozy café that contributes to a social environment.
ISAK arranges free courses, including in the use of vinyl cutters to make stickers and decorations, as well as sewing classes which are open to everyone, regardless of experience. Every Thursday, a media hangout is held for project guidance in film, photography and podcasts. The center also hosts ISAK Live, where participants can perform during the Trondheim Calling festival. Technician hangout provides opportunities for learning about stage lighting, live sound and stage technique, which contributes to an overall development within culture and art. All activities at ISAK are drug-free.
