Trondheim Judokwai is one of Norway's oldest judo clubs, established in 1966. The club offers training for all age groups, from children as young as 4 years old to adults over 80 years old. With a focus on exercise, self-defense and competition, they cater for both beginners and experienced athletes. The club also has an active youth group and a beginner group for children, which provide opportunities for development and participation in various activities.
The club is known for its para-athletes, who have achieved results at world champion level. Trondheim Judokwai also organizes coaching courses and competitions, including the Trøndercup, which gives members the opportunity to compete and develop their skills. In addition, they offer summer training, which provides continuity in training throughout the year.
