Centric IT Academy in Trondheim is a publicly approved vocational school that offers practical education in computer technology, server and network operation, as well as system and network administration. The school aims to provide students with a solid application of knowledge, with teaching from teachers who have experience from both their own IT department and collaborating IT companies.
The education takes place either through classroom teaching 2-3 days per week or as online studies with meetings. There is no tuition fee, but students must cover the costs of study materials. Centric IT Academy also has a goal that all students will find a job after completing their studies, which emphasizes the school's focus on vocational training. The studies are supported by the Norwegian Loan Fund, which provides financial assistance to qualified students.
