KBT Fagskole is an educational institution in Trondheim that offers higher vocational education with a focus on social entrepreneurship. Since its inception in 2020, the school has specialized in education for experience consultants, and from 2023 they have also included education in social entrepreneurship. The school emphasizes including the voice of users in research and development of health and welfare services, and collaborates with the Competence Center for User Experience and Service Development to offer shorter courses, including on the role of experience consultant and user involvement in research.
KBT Fagskole is also involved in the impact evaluation of Knowledge-Based Intervention for Mental Health (KIPS) and is planning an exchange program to South Africa. Through its work, the school focuses on preparing students for work and further education, while participating in several international projects in research and development.
