Gangbrua is a pedestrian bridge in Trondheim that connects the areas of Kalvskinnet and Øya. The bridge was built in 1995 as a copy of the original bridge from 1902, and it has a length of 176.3 meters with a maximum span of 9.66 meters. The sailing height under the bridge is four meters, making it suitable for small boats and other maritime traffic.
Built of wood, including the pillars, Gangbrua has a characteristic railing painted in yellow and red. The bridge also has an expanded walkway that is half a meter wider than the old version. The pedestrian bridge is recognized as a cultural monument and has historical significance for the local population, making it an important landmark in Trondheim.
