The Lukas Foundation is a private, non-profit and diaconal foundation with its head office in Malvik municipality, near Trondheim. The foundation runs health institutions within rehabilitation and geriatrics in Trøndelag, as well as psychiatry in Østfold. With a holistic approach to care, the Lukas Foundation focuses on looking after the whole person through professionally justified treatment methods.
As a non-profit actor, the foundation has a strong focus on diaconia in practice, and offers services in mental health care and interdisciplinary specialized treatment (TSB). In addition to health services, the Lukas Foundation offers education through upper secondary school and vocational school, which contributes to a holistic approach to health and education. The core principle "Health with the heart" reflects the foundation's values and objectives.
