Naturvernforbundet i Sør-Trøndelag is a voluntary organization that works to preserve nature in the region. The organization has a particular focus on reducing Trøndelag's impact on global environmental problems. Through various activities and events, such as environmental evenings and "Tour with meaning", they engage local communities in important nature conservation projects.
In addition to the events, the association offers courses, including fermentation, which are free for participants. They also award the Trønder Nature and Environment Award to recognize efforts in nature conservation.
