Project Baseline Trondheim is a voluntary organization that has been active since 2013. The organization focuses on combating plastic pollution in the sea and works to create responsibility for the sea among the inhabitants. Through various activities, such as beach cleaning days and clean-up campaigns, the volunteers engage in environmental protection work and contribute to cleaning the coastline.
In addition to clean-up operations, Project Baseline Trondheim documents the underwater environment and the problems surrounding ghost fishing. They offer underwater images and videos as tools for raising awareness of the state of the ocean. The organization collaborates with local actors to strengthen efforts against plastic pollution and promote a sustainable relationship with the sea.
