Tempo is a member-based music office that serves the music community in central Norway. The organization aims to improve the framework conditions for musicians through various offers such as courses, workshops and guidance. With almost 700 members, Tempo plays a central role in promoting interaction and skills development within the music field.
One of the most famous activities is Trondheim Song:Expo, which is one of the world's largest songwriting camps. In addition to this, Tempo is involved in the co-location project Musikkbyen Trondheim, which targets players in the music industry. The organization also organizes Lytteklubb, a meeting place for songwriters and artists, and launches mentoring schemes in collaboration with Music Norway. Tempo focuses on sustainability and grant schemes for musicians, and is actively involved in industry development.
