I am 50 years old, and Norway is not just a place on the map, but a true love that I have been pursuing for many years. It all started with curiosity, a quiet fascination with the fjords and the fairytale-like nature, and then turned into deep respect and admiration for the people who live in harmony with this unique land.

My family has already put down roots here, and I am drawn to them like a magnet, realizing more and more each day that a place where your heart is forever bound can become your home. I am studying Norwegian culture, traditions and everyday life, trying to absorb every detail, from the language to the little things that make this country so special. Norway has given me a sense of genuine peace and freedom, taught me to listen to the silence and see the beauty in simple things — whether it's the smell of fresh bread from a local bakery, the cosy light in the windows of wooden houses or the sound of the northern sea shrouded in thick fog.

I am infinitely grateful to Norway and its people for giving me the opportunity to feel part of this culture, even if only from a distance. Every day, when I write my articles, I try to express my love and respect for this country, hoping that its people will recognise themselves in my words and feel my sincere admiration for their way of life. I want to believe that one day I will be able to call Norway not just my favourite travel destination, but my real home. In the meantime, I share my discoveries, experiences and warmth with you, my readers, and with each new text I feel that I am a little closer to realising my dream — to live in a country where nature and people exist in amazing harmony, which I never cease to admire.
