The Voss Vision Center is located on the second floor above Coop Extra and Vinmonopolet, at the traffic lights in the center of Voss. The center opened in January 2004 and has since expanded in size and number of employees. The business focuses on several specialties within optics, including sports glasses with prescription and the fitting of special lenses.
An important part of the offer is the treatment of dry eyes, which is a growing public health problem. The Vision Center also has a special focus on children and their vision, and offers help with glasses and vision training. They emphasize the importance of eye health, as 80% of sensory impressions come from vision. The center bases its activities on the values of freedom of choice, consideration and competence.
