Voss River Club is an interest organization for river people in the Vossa area and functions as a local sports club under the Norwegian Padleforbund. The club aims to promote river paddling and responsible use of the river, as well as to strengthen the community among its members. Through various activities and events, the club seeks to engage both experienced paddlers and beginners.
The club offers courses in river paddling, safety and technique, which are adapted to the participants' skill level. In addition, Voss River Club organizes the River Festival, where free activities are offered for everyone, as well as an open day in collaboration with local actors such as Kulturverkstaden and Voss Husflidslag. For children and young people, there is also a summer school with varied activities, which helps to create interest in river paddling from an early age.
