Bergen Global is a collaboration between the University of Bergen (UiB) and the Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI). This initiative focuses on global development and international issues, and aims to promote research and dialogue on global challenges. Bergen Global serves as a platform for researchers, students and practitioners who want to share knowledge and experiences related to topics such as development, human rights and sustainability.
The collaboration offers various events, including seminars, lectures and workshops, where both national and international experts participate. Through these activities, Bergen Global seeks to strengthen the understanding of complex global issues and contribute to solutions that can be implemented locally and globally. The initiative is part of UiB's and CMI's broader commitment to socially relevant research and education.
