Drammen Museum, the Open Air Museum department, is part of Drammen Museum's overall offering and focuses on outdoor exhibitions and activities. The museum is located in scenic surroundings and gives visitors the opportunity to experience historical buildings and objects from different eras. The open air museum aims to convey local cultural history through interactive experiences and events.
In the open air museum, you can explore traditional buildings, such as old farms and craft workshops, which have been moved from various places in the region. This provides an insight into how people lived and worked in the past. The museum also offers various activities and events throughout the year, which are adapted for both children and adults, and which promote the understanding of local history and culture.
