Holmen Motorbåtforening was founded in 1946 and has since then been an important player for boat enthusiasts in the area. The association offers affordable moorings and storage spaces, which makes it easier for members to have access to their boats. The operation of the association is based on volunteer work from the members, which promotes community and cooperation.
The association also functions as a social gathering point, with its own clubhouse and activity center where members can meet and participate in various events. Holmen Motorbåtforening also has its own diesel filling station available to members, which contributes to practical solutions for boat users. A number of activities are arranged throughout the year, which strengthens the community and commitment among members.
