Foundation Lillehammer Museum is a foundation that includes several museums, including Maihaugen and the Norwegian Olympic Museum. The museums offer a joint ticket that gives visitors access to several of the cultural offerings under the foundation. With a focus on knowledge and learning, various activities are arranged for both children and adults, which contributes to an engaging experience for visitors.
The foundation has also achieved environmental certification, which reflects a conscious attitude towards sustainability in its operations. In addition, Foundation Lillehammer Museum collaborates with local donors and partners to strengthen the offer and accessibility of the museums. The Friends' Association plays an important role in supporting the work of the museums, and educational programs are offered for schools and kindergartens, which promote learning through cultural history.
