The main task of the Refugee Service in Molde Municipality is to assist with the settlement of refugees. The service offers an introduction program designed to help newcomers adapt to life in the municipality. This includes practical help and guidance, as well as coordination between various public and private agencies to ensure a holistic approach to integration.
The cooperation with local actors focuses on Norwegian language training, education and work, which is part of a larger strategy for integration anchored in the government's legislation. The Refugee Service emphasizes the qualification and integration of refugees, and works to create good conditions for a successful adaptation to Norwegian society.
