W.B. Samson - Lambertseter Senter is Oslo's oldest bakery, established in 1894. The bakery has a long tradition of producing quality baked goods, specializing in sourdough bread, cinnamon buns, school bread, cakes and Viennese goods. In addition to baked goods, they offer lunch dishes that focus on the use of good ingredients, reflecting their commitment to quality.
The bakery collaborates with Valdresmeiriet to offer its own cheese made from milk from local farms, and they use mountain pigs from Valdres in their products. The breads are made by hand and undergo a long-term rise before being baked in a hot stone oven, which contributes to a unique taste and texture. Recently, they have also started pressing their own orange juice, which has gained recognition for its taste.
