Lykkettrollet family kindergarten, section Åkerøveien, is located in a quiet residential area in Refstad/Løren in Oslo. The nursery offers places for children and has a focus on play and learning in a safe and inclusive environment. With committed and qualified employees, they emphasize the development of social skills and adapted activities for different ages. Cooperation with parents is an important part of the nursery school's philosophy, with the aim of ensuring the best interests of the child.
The nursery has access to a large garden with fruit trees, which provides good opportunities for physical development. In addition, they have recently planted a kitchen garden, where they grow herbs such as chives, parsley and coriander, with plans to expand to vegetables such as carrots and potatoes. The nursery is outside every day, regardless of weather conditions, and has fixed tour days. The premises are bright and spacious, with a clear feel of a nursery school, and there is a close collaboration with the Lykkettrolet family nursery school's Eltonveien department.
