Oppsal ski IF is a parent-run sports club that offers ski training for children from 1st grade and older. The club has its base at the ski stadium at Hellerudtoppen, where training is organized every Tuesday. The goal of the club is to promote skiing enjoyment and mastery, while at the same time giving members the opportunity to develop technical skiing skills through play and training.
The training is organized in groups divided by year group, which makes it possible to adapt the activities to the participants' skill level. The club offers training in both skating and free technique, and it is possible to take part in trial training before becoming a member. Oppsal ski IF is part of the alliance association Oppsal IF, which contributes to a wider sports environment in the area.
