Animal Identity AS is a business that specializes in information services related to ID marking of pets. The company offers a range of services that contribute to better identification of animals, including digital labeling that promotes animal welfare. Through their Smart Tag QR chip, missing animals can be tracked, and they have developed the DyreID app for easy access to various services, such as change of ownership and pet reports.
In addition, Animal Identity AS collaborates with veterinarians to ensure that the ID chips used are approved. The company manages the register of ID-tagged animals and works actively to improve animal health and safety. With the Pyramidion health register, which is installed in many Norwegian animal clinics, approximately 1.6 million diagnoses are collected annually. This information is used for research, disease prevention and knowledge raising in veterinary medicine. Animal Identity AS also has a scholarship scheme for veterinary students, which underlines their commitment to education and development in animal health.
