Sognsveien 84 is a car park that also functions as a gathering point for the allotment garden activities in the area. Apple pressing from own fruit is offered here, where colonists can participate in the process of grinding, pressing and pasteurizing apples. This gives the opportunity to use your own fruit and learn about the process behind apple production.
The Activities Committee and the Gjestebudet contribute to various events that promote community among the colonists. Training in the use of press equipment is offered, and three pop-up tents have been set up to ensure dry conditions during activities. In addition to these offerings, the colonists work together to promote self-reliance, and an annual "Colonist of the Year" is held. The history and involvement of the Ladies' Team in the colony garden is also an important part of the community.
