Shuddhashar FreeVoice is a publishing house established in 1990 and has since then focused on publishing articles that address social issues and freedom of expression. The publisher emphasizes an approach that aims to inspire readers, rather than impress them. This is reflected in its publications, which include essays and reflections from a variety of perspectives.
The topics addressed by Shuddhashar FreeVoice range from authoritarianism and inequality to solidarity. The publisher promotes creativity and provocation through writing, and offers a platform for voices from the global south. In addition, they engage readers in current debates and discussions, which contributes to a broader understanding of important social issues. Shuddhashar FreeVoice has also been recognized with the Shuddhashar Prize for its work.
