Nav Assistive Technology Centre Troms and Finnmark offers services related to assistive devices and adaptations for people with disabilities. The office aims to ensure that people in need of assistive devices receive the necessary support and adaptations in their everyday lives. Professionals in the municipality have the opportunity to check the status of assistive technology applications, which contributes to an efficient follow-up of the application process.
The centre uses digital solutions for both applications and follow-up, which makes it easier for users to navigate the system. Assistive devices are delivered directly to the municipality, and users are notified of ready delivery via SMS or email. It is also possible to follow the status of cases through nav.no using the ID-porten, which provides a transparent process for those applying for assistive devices.
