Kystens Hus is a competence center that was established in the fall of 2015 in Tromsø. The center functions as a modern mediator of coastal resources, with a focus on seafood, coastal culture, research, innovation and development. Through its co-location of players within the blue sector, Kystens Hus contributes to strengthening cooperation and visibility for the coastal industry.
The location in the middle of Tromsø city center gives Kystens Hus a strategic location, which promotes accessibility for visitors and players in the industry. The center offers a platform for food and coastal culture experiences, and aims to promote sustainable development of coastal areas. Kystens Hus is thus an important player in the work to preserve and develop coastal traditions and resources.
