Trondheim Public Library, Buran, is a district library that offers a diverse range of services for the local community. The library has implemented digital solutions, including advanced search in Bibliofil, which gives users easy access to the library's resources. In addition, the library organizes literary events for both children and adults, which helps to promote the joy of reading and cultural dissemination.
The library has special offers aimed at schools and kindergartens, including the possibility of creating a class library. A separate organizing group for young people, called Upolert, is working to develop activities and events for younger target groups. In addition to traditional library services, visitors can borrow e-bikes and tools, which expands the use of the library's resources. Trondheim Public Library also focuses on inclusion, with offers for newcomers to Norway, thereby contributing to a diverse and inclusive environment.
