The Frostating Court is one of the six courts of appeal in Norway and is located in Trondheim Courthouse. The court serves the entire Central Norway region and plays a central role in the regional justice system. It is co-located with the Trøndelag District Court, which contributes to the efficient management of court cases and resources.
As an important institution for the rule of law and the administration of justice, the Frostating Court hears appeals against judgments from lower courts. The court handles a wide range of cases, and its decisions have implications for both individuals and society as a whole.
