Flatåsaunet housing association is located in Trondheim and offers housing in an organized form of cooperation between the residents. The housing association is part of the Norwegian housing model, where members own shares in the community and have the right to live in a specific home. This provides a structured and safe form of housing for those who want to live in a community with shared responsibility for operation and maintenance.
The housing association aims to create a good living environment for its residents. This includes common areas and opportunities for social activities. Flatåsaunet housing associations are regulated by the Housing Associations Act, which provides guidelines for operation, maintenance and the residents' rights and obligations. The residents actively participate in decision-making processes that concern their home and common areas.
