A/S Longvafisk was established in 1968 by John Longva, who was a pioneer in factory ships. The company is known as the sales company for Norway's first factory ship, "LONGVA". Longvafisk is Ålesund's oldest fish outlet and offers a wide selection of fresh fish products as well as shellfish from both Norway and abroad.
The shop has specialties such as char fillet and cod medallions from Skrei. In addition to retail, A/S Longvafisk offers charity sales for school classes, teams and associations. The company also has a delivery service for products in the Ålesund area, which makes it easier for customers to get access to fresh fish products.
