The Ålesund-hurtigruten is a membership association associated with the Norwegian Tourist Association, which offers a varied program of day trips and longer trips in a network of cabins and routes. The association has 15 cabins, a sea bow and a boathouse available to visitors. The activities that are organized span the whole year and include joint trips as well as activities adapted to children, young people and adults.
In addition to the tours, the Ålesund express route provides tour tips and recommended routes for those who want to explore the area on their own. To keep visitors up-to-date on the weather conditions, there is also a webcam located at Kaldhusseter. The association provides the opportunity for support through the Grasrotandelen, which helps to promote their activities and offers.
