Sangens Fellesutvalg is a community center that offers rehearsal and party rooms for rent. The center is owned and managed by Aalesund's Mandssangforening, which was founded in 1883. This makes it part of a long tradition in music and singing in Ålesund.
In addition to renting facilities, Sangens Fellesutvalg houses the women's choir A'Cappella, which consists of 30 singing ladies aged 30 to 80. This choir is known as Ålesund's oldest existing choir, and contributes to the local musical life. The center also offers facilities and equipment that can be rented, making it a useful resource center for both singers and other groups in the community.
