Løvenvold Kino is part of Ålesund Kino and is operated under the cinema chain Nordisk Film Kino. With over 102 years of operation, the cinema has established itself as a living house for the whole family, and offers a varied program that includes both film screenings and theater performances. The cinema shows the month's films, pre-premieres, as well as special events such as "Preik & Kino", where the public can participate in conversations about the films.
The cinema hall is decorated with friezes depicting the folk songs Villemann and Magnill, which gives a unique atmosphere to the experience. Løvenvold Kino also organizes stand-up shows with well-known comedians, and has a program that includes both local and national artists. This makes the cinema an important cultural offer in Ålesund.
