Folkeuniversitetet Ålesund offers a varied selection of courses and educations adapted to both private individuals and companies. The institution has a particular focus on leadership development, where networking is a central part of the learning experience. In addition to management development programmes, basic courses in the accountancy program Tripletex are offered, as well as courses in national subjects which are necessary for authorization in Norway.
The learning approach at Folkeuniversitetet is practical, especially within Norwegian courses, where repetition is an important component. Arrangements are made for flexible learning, so that participants can study at their own pace. For those who are unsure about which course suits them best, a free consultation is offered for guidance on course selection.
