The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Alta Traffic Station, is a public agency that offers a number of services related to vehicles and driving licenses. Visitors must book an appointment in advance, as it is not possible to show up without an appointment. This ensures a more efficient processing of inquiries and services.
The traffic station offers adapted theory tests for people with reading or writing difficulties, as well as digital services for self-service. Through these digital solutions, users can, among other things, send a sales notice, pay for re-registration, and check the deadline for EU inspection. In addition, you can book a vehicle inspection and a new driving license, but it is important to note that the theory test also requires advance booking.
