The Library for Social Sciences and Music at the University of Bergen specializes in social sciences, music and psychology. The library offers a range of services, including access to digital and e-resources that can be used from your own computer. There are also workstations and group rooms available for students, allowing for both individual and group work.
In addition to the physical and digital collections, the library offers courses and guidance in thesis writing and source criticism. It also facilitates teaching programs and events, and has reference tools such as EndNote and Zotero available for use. The library has a focus on research and innovation in an academic context, and is an important resource for both students and staff at the university. Access to the library is possible with a UiB card outside of regular opening hours, and it is open 24 hours a day at certain times of the year.
