Production veterinarian Pingo offers veterinary services for production animals, with a special focus on home visits. The services include treatment of diseases and injuries, as well as insemination. In addition, the veterinarian has experience with small animals if needed. Without clinic premises, the practice is mobile, making it easier for animal owners to get help where the animals are.
The veterinarian graduated from the Norwegian Veterinary College in 1983 and has a varied background, including military service, UN service, and experience from whaling and sealing. There have also been several years in veterinary practice and work for the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, including in meat inspection. The practice has mainly been aimed at production animals such as cows and sheep, and the veterinarian regularly keeps himself professionally updated to ensure the quality of the services.
