The Breast Diagnostic Center in Bergen offers specialized examinations for patients with symptoms in the breast and/or armpit. The center is responsible for the public mammography program in Hordaland, and mammography screening is performed in its own premises at Danmarksplass. This ensures that patients have access to the necessary examinations in an adapted environment.
In addition to mammography screening, the Breast Diagnostic Center collaborates with Haraldsplass Diakonale Sykehus to offer thorough evaluation of patients. The center places great emphasis on patient safety and quality in healthcare services, which is an important part of their approach to treatment and follow-up of patients.
